What we collect

• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and uptime. They are not used to identify you and are rotated automatically.
• Newsletter email. If you subscribe to The Clear Digest, we store the email address you give us — nothing else. Every issue includes a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing deletes your address from the list.

What we don't collect

• No advertising trackers and no third-party ad networks.
• No sale, rental, or sharing of reader data with anyone. Ever.

Affiliate links

When you click a "Check price" link, the retailer or affiliate network (for example Amazon Associates, Impact, or AvantLink) may set cookies in your browser to attribute the referral. Those cookies are governed by the retailer's own privacy policy. We receive aggregate reports (clicks, commissions) that contain no personal information about you.

Embedded content

Some reviews embed YouTube videos using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube sets no cookies unless you press play.

Your rights

You can request a copy or deletion of any data we hold about you (in practice: your newsletter address) by emailing hello@theclearbuy.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Material changes will be noted in the newsletter.
